Nanergy, Inc. is a marketer and distributor of commercial and industrial photovoltaic (PV) systems and modules. The company also markets an array of industrial and consumer PV products. Nanergy's offerings are designed in the United States and manufactured by its affiliates around the world.

PV Modules

Nanergy is a thin-film company, using primarily amorphous silicon (a-Si) photovoltaic (PV) modules. Currently under development is the PV Duo PV module that will combine a-Si and Copper Indium Gallium diSelenide (CIGS) technlogy. This will greatly increase the conversion efficiency of thin film modules and will further lower $/Watt cost, and thereby the selling price.

Transparent Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV)

The Nanergy team has been involved in BIPV for many years, specializing in transparent BIPV. Transparent BIPV allows the transparency of the PV module to be incresed from its original 4% to any desired amount, for example 50%. This option will provide architects and builders with great flexibility and option. Color options can also be introduced with different silk screening and color glass. PV Venetian Blinds (PVVB)

Our latest, very exciting new product is a PV venetian blind (PVVB). This is a regular blind with PV on it. It is perfect for replacing already existing blinds or to use them as a new addition. They will fit exactly as new blinds would except they will generate electricity that can be used for charging cell phones, running computers and printers...
